What is "FAVOURITES" ?
This page is a collation of all my FAVOURITE food, hang-outs, shopping bargains, activities etc... that I like to share with my "WonderWomen", caregivers of cancer survivors or anyone who visits this site. They are not necessary healthy food or anticancer activities, but simply things which I enjoyed doing. =)

Why "FAVOURITES" ?
I remembered when I had my first relapse, one of my mother-in-law's church friend queried whether it was because I frequently went outdoors. She believed that one of her relative had a remission of 10 over years because she hardly step out from her house except for special occassions, and this has helped to "prolong" her life.

I thought, if cancer causes one to alter his/her daily lifestyle and restrict one with so many activities in order to prevent a relapse, then you have already been defeated by your cancer!

True courageous cancer survivors are people who continue to lead a normal life regardless of their cancer. Of course, those unhealthy activities which we had in the past have to stop right after our cancer diagnosis. =)

I remembered during those days when I had my first-line chemo drugs, I invited alot of stares whenever I went out because I had complete hair loss. Well, to "counter-attack" those stares, I stared back at those curious passer-bys and they will normally looked away because Singaporeans are basically shy people. Hahahaha!

Like any other normal person, cancer survivors also enjoy going to their FAVOURITE places, doing the things they like. Our lives should not stop even after getting cancer.
